Our Promise To You

My Environmental Promise: I use Forest Stewardship Council certified woods or woods salvaged from downed trees. All boards are glassed with epoxy resin which is cleaner for our environment and emits 50-75% less Volatile Organic Compounds than polyester resin. In my shop I have moderate ventilation and no need for a mask when glassing. Epoxy is lighter and stronger than polyester. My wood boards are nearly indestructible and should last a lifetime. Each board is quality crafted for strength, durability and concern for our environment.

My Satisfaction Promise: Ride your board for 30 days. If you don't like it, return it.

Charlie picked up his modified 9'3" nose rider

Charlie emailed: "dan, rode about 12 waves this morn, fun to ride, turns on a dime...I'll have another one". Charlie wanted our logo placed East to West, we kind of like that arrangement. Might start doing it that way on top and North/South on bottom.

Not one of our fins, but it's an awesome design and works well with this board.

Pic below is making fun of my photo to Charlie with my feet showing.

This is a shortened version of our 9'8" nose rider. It's now 9'3" with 7 1/2" wide tail and double glassing on deck. I was concerned it might turn out little heavy so use more cedar than normal. We're talking about doing an 8'2" mini-mal. Could be an interesting project. (see 6-5-2011 Charlie's 9'3" nose rider story below)

Tom's Personal Ride

Tom last year using his Stewart surfboard while working on his next wood board. Few waves later - during this hurrican swell session - he broke off the nose. Fixed it and broke it again couple months ago. So he took what was best on that Stewart and some mods to make it work little better in our beach environment and here's how it came out.
