It's new owner, Randy surfs, as do his two sons. Living out in CA certainly has advantages we don't have here in NC, like nice rock breaks, beautiful blue ocean and awesome waves. Oh we have good waves in NC, just not at Sunset Beach.

Tom's Fish found a nice home

A Raising Sun
Fin by Dan. I wish I could say the wood was most expensive part of this fin...it was not. My time, at $2.00 an hour, was most expensive part. I needed a block of glass/epoxy to use for inside the fin box. It took about 70 sheets of glass, some weights and good amount of epoxy. I've got a block for a few more fins. Its looking good, not finished, just has one layer of glass and some filler for beading. Needs another layer and some shaping to make it just right.

Spanky our mascot
We took our name from Tom's really sweet blind dog Spanky. Nothing bothered him and being blind was just matter of who he was. Kindest dog you'd ever meet. He passed away couple of weeks ago, perhaps now he can see.
