Our Promise To You

My Environmental Promise: I use Forest Stewardship Council certified woods or woods salvaged from downed trees. All boards are glassed with epoxy resin which is cleaner for our environment and emits 50-75% less Volatile Organic Compounds than polyester resin. In my shop I have moderate ventilation and no need for a mask when glassing. Epoxy is lighter and stronger than polyester. My wood boards are nearly indestructible and should last a lifetime. Each board is quality crafted for strength, durability and concern for our environment.

My Satisfaction Promise: Ride your board for 30 days. If you don't like it, return it.

Sunset Beach and a sloppy wave.

Tom was working on a house right on SB. "Should have been here this morning" kind of call I got around 3:30, yeah right and we have to work for a living. So checking for after work hrs, it was ok but he didn't have his board. Loaned him my 9'10" woodie. I used my old surftech, 10'6" monster. Not real good stuff but got this one shot before heading home.

Oak Island Surf Contest 9-05-09

Surf was deadly small. I smacked my toe on GoPro camera mount and managed to really create a nice gash. No surf for me. Tom took 4th in Long Board Pro and 4th in Amateur Long Board. This was just past surf line, pod of seven putting on a great display for us land bound two leggers.

My HWS out at Tubbs Inlet

This is between Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach. Wave, albeit small 2-3 footers, the day was great. Nice offshore winds and six other friends were out. Some day I'll learn to surf better. :)
